Further, If ‘AutoBuy ticket’ is enabled and your node successfully packs a block, the resulting block reward and returned tokens will be used to automatically purchase a new ticket.
Fusion has extended its popular node setup script to support the staking community to easily disable ‘Autobuy ticket’. The script can also now be used to reconfigure other parameters of your node, including wallet address and node name.
A user can disable the AutoBuy function by progressing through the following steps:
1. SSH into your VPS (explained in the How to Set Up A Fusion Node Guide)
2. Execute the following three commands individually (careful not to add any additional characters)
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/FUSIONFoundation/efsn/master/QuickNodeSetup/fsnNode.sh
sudo mv fsnNode.sh /usr/local/bin/
sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/fsnNode.sh
3. After running these commands, execute the script previously used to configure your node.
fsnNode.sh
4. Check that the script runs ‘Fusion Node Manager v.1.0.0.104’
5. Select option 6 ‘configure node’, be careful not to select option 1 or the chain data will be deleted and your node will have to download all the block information from scratch.
6. Next you will be prompted to select the setting that you picked previously when you set up your node. Most stakers selected ‘Miner and Local Gateway’.
7. The node manager will now take you through the same steps that you went through during the initial node setup process. Follow the prompts but this time enter ’n’ for Autobuy ticket.
8. In the last prompt ‘is this your wallet address?’ — select ‘y’ if it is the correct wallet address, after selecting ‘y’ your node will restart but none of the chain data will be deleted so your node will only be down for a matter of seconds!
